Staying Hydrated In Extreme Heat
With the summer heat quickly rising, not just in Columbus, Ohio, but across the whole United States, Adam Kessler offers suggestions on staying hydrated in the extreme heat while participating in sports/activities. If you are feeling thirsty, you are already dehydrated. As a speed trainer, Adam recommends that his athletes drink half their body weight in fluid ounces on their off days. Training or sports days, you obviously need to be drinking more. Sodium is also a crucial mineral, that when depleted, leads to faster cramping.
