Creating A Speed Training Program

You want to create your own speed training program?  With input from Adam Kessler of Columbus, Ohio, you can.  In order to see improvements in your speed, you need to have an organized program.  Remember to always begin with warm-ups.  Next are form drills, then power work to develop the leg power needed to get you faster.  You will add resistance/assistance runs as well as lateral and foot quickness drills and some strength training.  You need to pay attention to your running mechanics throughout.  To see specific drills/guidance to use in your program, click here:  Creating A Speed Training Program
